1. Campaign website status
This website is a political campaign communication supporting Agnes P. Gonzalez for Rowland Unified School District Board of Education, Trustee Area 1. It is operated for campaign purposes and is not an official governmental, school-district, county, or state website.
2. No RUSD or government sponsorship
References to Rowland Unified School District, Trustee Area 1, government offices, public agencies, elected officials, election systems, logos visible in user-supplied photographs, or official web resources are for identification, factual context, endorsement reporting, or public-information links. They do not mean that RUSD, Los Angeles County, the State of California, or any government agency sponsors, operates, hosts, guarantees, or approves this campaign website.
Individual endorsements listed on the campaign site are presented as endorsements by those identified individuals in the capacity stated by the campaign. An individual's endorsement does not convert a government body or public agency into a campaign sponsor.
3. Political communication and California disclosure rules
California's Political Reform Act and FPPC regulations impose different disclaimer rules depending on the type of campaign communication, who pays for it, and where it appears. The footer “Paid for by” statement on this website is intended as a transparency disclosure for this site; it does not replace any separate disclosure, placement, formatting, committee-ID, social-media, email, text-message, paid-influencer, online-platform, mailer, sign, telephone, radio, video, or other advertisement requirement that may apply to another communication.
Current FPPC guidance for a candidate committee's own election states that a “Paid for by” committee name and committee ID are recommended for a candidate's own non-social electronic media such as a website, while other electronic and social-media communications can have mandatory requirements. The campaign is responsible for applying the rule that governs each communication when it is published.
4. Election information
The campaign attempts to present election dates and voter-resource descriptions accurately, but official election authorities control election administration. Dates, locations, hours, eligibility rules, forms, procedures, URLs, and voting services may be updated. Visitors should rely on official RUSD, Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, and California Secretary of State sources for final election instructions.
5. Quick Links and external services
Quick Links are provided solely as a convenience to official or useful independent resources. They are direct outbound links, not campaign-operated copies of those services. The campaign does not operate or control the voter-registration, voter-status, vote-by-mail, Vote Center, RUSD, or Zelle systems and is not a party to a user's interaction with those services.
When a user follows an external link, the destination's privacy policy and terms apply. The campaign is not responsible for the destination's availability, accessibility, security, cookies, data collection, data accuracy, changes, or transactions. The presence of a link does not imply endorsement of every statement or policy on the destination site.
6. Data separation from linked government sites
Information a visitor types into registertovote.ca.gov, lavote.gov, plan.lavote.gov, RUSD systems, or another linked site is submitted directly to that external service—not through this campaign website. The campaign does not receive or store a visitor's registration-status lookup, ballot-status query, Vote Center search, or government-form response solely because the campaign provided the link.
7. No legal, tax, voting, or financial advice
Content on this website is campaign and informational material. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, cybersecurity, accessibility-certification, or individualized voting advice. Official law, regulations, agency instructions, and advice from qualified professionals control in case of a conflict.
8. Contributions
Campaign contributions are subject to federal, state, and any applicable local laws governing source restrictions, true-donor identity, recordkeeping, reporting, payment methods, refunds, and contribution limits. The fact that the site displays a Zelle QR code does not itself establish that every attempted contribution is legally permissible. The campaign may reject or return a contribution or request additional contributor information when required for compliance.
See Contribution Information for detailed California recordkeeping and reporting information.
9. Endorsements
The campaign should list a person or organization as an endorser only when it has a reasonable basis to believe the endorsement is authorized. Titles are provided for identification. Government employers, boards, agencies, and institutions are not implied endorsers unless expressly identified as such and legally permitted to endorse.
10. Photographs, names, and third-party marks
Campaign photographs are used for campaign communication and community context. Names, government agency names, school-district names, trademarks, product marks, and other third-party identifiers remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship unless the site expressly states an authorized endorsement or sponsorship.
11. Artificial intelligence and altered media
California campaign law can require special disclosures for certain political advertisements containing media generated or substantially altered using artificial intelligence. Ordinary technical edits such as cropping, resizing, or minor cosmetic adjustments may be treated differently under FPPC guidance. If the campaign later publishes covered AI-generated or materially altered political advertising, the campaign is responsible for adding the disclosure required for that communication.
12. Acceptable use and site security
Visitors may use the public site for lawful informational purposes. Users may not attempt to interfere with the site's operation, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, scrape protected systems, impersonate another person, or use the site to violate law or the rights of others.
13. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, original campaign copy, layout, campaign-created graphics, and design elements are owned by or used with permission of the campaign. Official government materials and third-party materials remain subject to their own rights and terms.
14. Accessibility
The campaign aims to make this website accessible and maintains a separate Accessibility Statement. External sites are controlled by their own operators and may follow different standards.
15. Privacy
Use of this website is also subject to the Privacy Policy, including the detailed explanation of third-party links and the distinction between campaign information and information collected by linked government or payment services.
16. Accuracy, availability, and no warranty
The campaign works to keep content accurate but cannot guarantee that every page, link, third-party service, election detail, endorsement title, or external resource will always be current, available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Nothing on this site overrides an official election notice, statute, regulation, court order, or agency instruction.
17. Limitation regarding external services
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the campaign is not responsible for loss arising solely from the operation, outage, content, security, data practices, or transaction processing of an independent external website or financial service that the campaign does not control.
18. Governing law and severability
These Terms are intended to be interpreted consistently with applicable United States federal law and California law. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to the extent permitted by law.
19. Changes and contact
The campaign may update these Terms as the site, campaign, law, or official guidance changes. Questions about the campaign may be directed to 1-626-964-4863 or AGNESGONZ81@GMAIL.COM. Website/legal-page questions may be sent to RAYMENZHEN@GMAIL.COM.
